Precision Surface Grinding
Surface grinding is the process by which a part is mounted to a table for back and forth feeding under a grinding wheel for leveling and smoothing. NETW uses several different surface grinders to achieve flat, parallel and square surfaces on various parts. Machines are equipped with magnetic tables to hold ferrous parts, while special work-holding arrangements are required for non-ferrous parts. Component/part size can be controlled incrementally in ten-thousandths of inches.
